The third and final section of the tourist boardwalk in Hurghada, together with the city’s first recreational park, was officially opened by the minister of tourism and antiquities Ahmed Issa, and the governor of the Red Sea Amr Hanafi.




Along the new walkway are several tourist resorts and hotel amenities. With a length of nearly 6,000 meters, the walkway’s initial section was built more than 20 years ago.

He stated that the Egyptian national tourism plan, which will be released during the first quarter of 2023 to expand inbound tourism and provide a variety of goods that fit all visitors, has as one of its major axes enhancing the visitor experience.

The Red Sea Governor also emphasized how the walkway’s expansion made it possible for it to become the world’s biggest open museum. He pointed out that while a new sewage network, service centers, and cafeterias were built, infrastructure upgrades were also a part of the growth process. Along with leisure areas, a bicycle route was also opened.




The third phase of the project, according to the governor, also entails creating public beaches to accommodate Hurghada’s expanding tourist population. He mentioned that Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly keeps track of all development initiatives in the governorate and offers all assistance necessary to get over any roadblocks to the development strategy.
