From February 1st, Jaipur International Airport (JIA) will go completely silent. The information was shared by the officials from the Jaipur airport who also added that this initiative is introduced to enrich the traveling experience of passengers.
According to some reports, Jaipur airport going sound-free will not create any problems for the passengers as all the detail will be shown on the big digital screens. Plus, they will also receive boarding details on their mobile phones. The airport is taking the help of technology to make the traveling experience more feasible. Plus, a PA system will be deployed at the Jaipur airport that will give important updates to the passengers. However, the emergency announcements will continue the same as earlier.
An official spokesperson from the airport gave detailed information so that no passenger missed any vital information and hence plenty of digital screens were installed across the stretch of the airport. Additionally, he said that screens are displayed at the strategic locations inside and outside of the airport, check in halls, security area, and inside the terminal. Simply put, the passengers will not only get all the updates on the digital screens but also receive updates on their mobile phones.
According to reports, automated public address systems would be installed at the airport to inform travellers of critical information. In their respective roles, airlines will also keep passengers informed of all information pertaining to travel. Jaipur is known as one of the best places for tourists in India.
In order to inform travellers of the impending development through display screens and signage, the airport is currently running an awareness campaign a few days before it becomes a quiet airport.
