1. Khuzam Palace

The name of this palace Khuzam is given to a wide area in Al-Nuzlah Alyamaniah Quarter in Jeddah. The construction process of this most popular monument in Saudi Arabia began in the year 1347H (1928G) and completed by 1351H (1932G). The palace consisted of a two-story building and many associated buildings on the southern and western sides that form one adjacent unit and with fences of three meters high. Khuzam Palace is built with solid limestone brought from the sea coast and part of the palace is converted as a museum of Antiquities and Heritage.

2. Janntul Al Mu’allla

If you talk about the second most famous cemetery in the Islamic world that is Janntul Al Mu’allla and it is not far from the Grand Mosque. Jannat Al Mu’alla is a graveyard where many of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad’s ancestors are buried, notably his mother (Aminah), grandfather (Abdul Muttalib), and first wife (Khadijah). Hazrat Muhammad is known as the founder of Islam. Even before Mohamed (PBUH) was born, and remains so to this day, this ancient burial place was respected. Unfortunately, 1925 saw the destruction of many landmarks, including this famous monument in Saudi Arabia. As a result, no domes, tombs, or gravestones remain, though small piles of rocks mark where the bodies are interred.

3. Shoubra Palace

The palace was built in the year 1325 H (1907G), as the first historical palace in the beautiful city of Taif. It represents distinctive architectural elements and one of the important historic milestones in the city of Taif. This historical building in Saudi Arabia has been converted to a Heritage and Antiquities Museum in subsequent time.

5. Ji’ranah Mosque

On the road to Taif, especially those who are preparing for Hajj or Umrah, this impressive mosque is an important place for Muslims. After the Battle of Hunaian, the Prophet (PBUH) entered Ihram here before continuing to the holy city and stopped at Masjid Al Ji’ranah. 6. Saggaf Palace

Saggaf Palace is situated in Mecca – Ma’abdah Quarter, Al-Abtah Road. It is one of the oldest buildings in Saudi Arabia distinguished by Islamic architecture with many decorative Islamic architectural and technical elements. This palace is a huge building comprising of two levels with the main entrance as a gate in the middle of the northern façade. It has two minor entrances in the main wall and on the north-eastern side there is a fortress-shaped building or military tower with rectangular skylights and ventilation.

7. Masjid Al-Jinn

Scores of stories have been told about this curiously named the most famous monument in Suadi Arabia. The most famous of the accounts say that on this spot Mohamed (PBUH) recited the Quran to the Jinn tribe, who then embraced Islam and became believers. The original Masjid Al-Jinn was built in 1700 – and was originally underground. Include angular architecture and a distinctly modern minaret, recent additions to the historical mosque.

8. Jabal Al Nour

Jabal Al Nour is called the “Mountain of Light” or “Hill of Illumination.” Jabal Al Nour is primarily famous for its Hira cave. It is the same cave where the Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) received the first of his many revelations. Its significance in Islamic history, along with soaring views of Makkah and the Holy Mosque from its summit, make Jabal Al Nour a popular spot for pilgrims. 9. Dir’iyah

The historic district of Al Dir’iya is in the northwest part of the city of Riyadh, located on the west bank of Wadi Hanifa, deep valley.  It is an ancient historic town which also considered as one of the important monuments in Saudi Arabia that date back to the mid-9th century Hijri when Gusaibah Manie Bin Rabiah Al-Meridi quarter was established. Ever since the town has been expanding due to the importance of its geographical location and its centrality in the Arabian Peninsula. In the middle of the twelfth century Hijri (18th century CE), Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab – who was born in the family of Al-Saud, arrived in Dir’aiyah when he found in the person of Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud, a good synergist and pro to reform call and revival if the Sunnah – (way of life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)). And hence, God wanted to make Dir’aiyah a Center of guidance and a starting point for the building of a guided State on the strong pillars of Islam.

10. Aisha Mosque

Also known as Taneem Mosque (Masjid e Taneem), especially locals who are beginning their Hajj or Umrah journeys, Aisha Mosque is a popular destination for pilgrims. This is where the beloved wife of Mohamed (PBUH), Aisha (SAW) prepared to enter Ihram. The Holy Prophet Mohammad said, “Part of the worship of  Umrah and Hajj is to travel in the way of Allah and to go out of the city.” Thus, this most beautiful monument in Saudi Arabia serves as a miqat or a place for adorning Ihram clothing. 11. Masmak Palace

It’s a strongly-protected castle with thick walls, located in the old quarter of the Riyadh City Centre. At the beginning of the twentieth century (January 1902), the beginning of 1319 Hijri, this ancient landmark in Saudi Arabia was witness to a decisive battle when the Turkish rulers were defeated by the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdul Aziz Al Saud. And then, after the conquest of Riyadh, subsequent strategic expansions lead to the creation of Saudi Arabia.

12. Jabal Thawr

Surrounding the valley where Makkah lies, Jabal Thawr is one of the mountains. It was within a cave here that for three days from the Quraish tribe, the Prophet and his companion Abu Bakr (RA) hid. Allah had a spider spin a web at the cave’s entrance to protect the two men, from seeing within and finding them preventing their enemies. To symbolize faith and hope, Thawr Cave has since come. About 12km south of Mecca, Mount Thawr lies. The historical site in Saudi Arabia sees fewer pilgrims than Hira Cave in Jabal Al Nour because of its greater distance from the holy city, where Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) received his first revelation.

13. Al-Muraba Palace

Another beautiful monument of Saudi Arabia in the heart of Riyadh city, surrounded by vast and well-manicured gardens is the Al Muraba Place. It was constructed by late King Abdulaziz following the settlement of matters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when the country was unified in the year 1351H (1932G). The palace was built in the rectangle shape – 300 meters as length and 400 meters as width with two levels as height. The roof is made of local building materials – mud and palm trees. Just across the palace is a well-laid garden that forms the park of the National Museum, Riyadh’s main museum of heritage and antiquities.

14. Masjid Al Khayf

Sits on the edge of Mina’s tent city, this well-known place of worship where Mohamed (PBUH) and many other prophets prayed. Surrounded by a low wall, the mosque has been expanded to accommodate 25,000 pilgrims once a modest structure. Near the base of a mountain in Mina, Masjid Al Khayf is located, near the smallest Jamarat. The wall of this sacred monument in Saudi Arabia used for the Stoning of the Devil ritual.
