Today marks the official opening of the 369-foot-tall Viswas Swaroopam Shiva monument in the Rajasthani town of Nathdwara. Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, CP Joshi, and others will be present when it is officially unveiled as the highest Shiva statue in the world. The statue, which is located about 45 kilometers from Udaipur, was constructed by Tat Padam Sansthan. A number of religious, spiritual, and cultural events will be held for nine days, from October 29 to November 6, following the statue’s inauguration, according to Sansthan trustee and chairman of the Miraj group Madan Paliwal. Religion preacher Morari Bapu will also recite the Ram Katha during the nine days.
In reference to the statue, Paliwal claimed that the state’s religious tourism would take on a new dimension thanks to this magnificent statue of Lord Shiva. One of the best places in Rajasthan, this Shiva temple is must visit the place.Â
The statue, which is in a meditation position and has been put on a mountaintop over a region of 51 bighas, is believed to be visible from 20 kilometers away. Jaiprakash Mali, the program’s spokesperson, said the statue will be easily visible at night since it will be lit with unique lighting.
There have reportedly apparently been stairways, elevators, and a hall constructed for followers. Its construction required 3,000 tonnes of steel and iron, 2.5 lakh cubic tonnes of sand, and concrete, and it took roughly 10 years to complete.
